Mayor's Report

It's hard to believe that eight years have already passed since being honored by you to be the Mayor of Kinder. We have all been through much, yet we continue to persevere. Our town's unity and ability to support each other through good and bad is what makes Kinder such a special place! I look forward to that same spirit over the next four years. Thank you for making Kinder a great place to live! It is a privilege to be Mayor. Happy New Year!

Occupational License Tax News

May 16, 2024

The Town of Kinder will now handle Occupational License Tax (OLT) and issue Occupational Licenses directly from City Hall, replacing the third-party company that had been used for that task for the past 12 years.  We will be sending out renewal letters to existing businesses later this year. 

If you are a local business owner and you get a renewal form from someone other than Town of Kinder, please disregard it. 

The Occupational License Application can be found on our website along with instructions and tax tables to assist with completing the application and properly calculating the amount owed.
